Museum of Scotland - Free Day Out in Scotland
Scotland Museum houses nearly 10,000 exhibits - some of which are millions of years old! The Museum of Scotland is two great buildings housing one amazing museum. The first building, the Museum of Scotland, tells you the history of Scotland from its people, to history and everyday culture throughout the times. The second building, the Royal Museum (adjacent) houses wonderful collections ranging from culture and science to nature.

You can take part in lots of activities every day at the Museum. Pick up a Museum Map when you arrive. It tells you what’s on, where and when. Or check the plasma screens for the same information.
