The Great Battle Walk (with Mud)
It’s best battle boots forward for some seriously squelchy family fun on the Great Battle March (with mud) at Warwick Castle this February half term. Wannabe warriors can step into the shoes of a mediaeval battalion for a hands-on, feet first adventure trail around the Castle grounds. Along the way, get a taste of army rations, army training and army health and hygiene.

And like any self-respecting conscript you will be expected (and positively encouraged) to embrace the elements, throw caution to the “Great” British weather and have fun in the inevitable winter mud. Wellies or waterproof walking shoes are strongly recommended; ponchos will be available and to ensure even the littlest soldiers can join in baby “battle” backpacks will also be on hand.
