The Deep Aquarium

If you are an ocean lover but you arent too sure you want to get into the water, The Deep Aquarium in Yorkshire, is an awesome attraction from near and far that everyone can come and visit.

When you visit the aquarium, you will be amazed that you can get within arms reach of the wild oceanic animals and examine them from a close distance. Being the worlds only Submarium, we have welcomed over 2 million guests from all around the world since our opening in 2002, and containing thousands of sea creatures in our tanks and 2.5 million
litres of water.

Not only does our aquarium acquire visitors, but we are also here for marine research. Behind the scenes we have a wonderful team of dedicated marine
biologists to look after and care for all of our animals in our collection. They
are also here to help examine and make new discoveries for the marine
research.

Our main exciting feature is the 10 meter deep pool, containing 2.5
million liters of water. This tank is home to several sharks and rays, along with
several other amazing fish. Every afternoon we provide our visitors with a
show dive, where two of our dive team members dive to the bottom of this tank
and hand feed the sharks and rays.
